We tend to get swept away in a busy restless world. How can we slow down? Inner quiet is always available, like the deep ocean under the crashing waves. We can discover a calm centre from which to act in life, where we are less disturbed or overwhelmed by changing circumstances. Like being in the eye of the storm. As the fourth of The Five Powers, it is the ground and foundation of mindfulness and all meditative practices. In this course we will explore and experience calm and concentration, especially by means of meditative exercises. The course includes a video talk, an audio talk, a guided meditation, and reading materials and the possibility of asking a question.
